Please see the below map for parking locations and addresses. Each parking lot has a dedicated shuttle that will bring you to the festival grounds. Police and parking attendants will be directing you into these lots.

Offsite camping: Shuttle pick up to the festival grounds are at the campground entrance gate at SR 864

ADA: There is ADA parking at all of the 3 day lots closer to the shuttle locations. Shuttles then transport to the festival grounds.

Once on grounds, ADA patrons can call for Catch a Rydes dispatch for free shuttles 608-472-9016. Shuttles start at 8 AM and go until the headliner takes the stage. We have additional ADA-only golf cart shuttles on the grounds.

If you need an ADA wristband, please visit the box office.

Returning to car or campsite: When you’re done for the day, please look for signs at the exit that will direct you to the shuttles back to lots and off-site parking.

If you are attending the after-party, please follow the “After Party” signs. These shuttles will drop you off so you can continue your fun.

Moshing and Crowd Surfing may take place. Be aware of your surroundings. These activities may become dangerous and are done so at your own risk. Blue Ridge Rock Festival is not responsible for any injuries that may result from participating in these actions.

The festival is all ages. Children 8 and under can enter for free with an adult. We recommend proper ear protection and sunscreen for the little ones!

There is no re-entry provided for those without a Camping Pass. If you have a Camping Pass, you may come and go from campgrounds to the concert site as often as you wish.

Yes, we have put additional measures in place to boost cell service for event attendees, however, we cannot guarantee cell coverage.

We will have ATMs positioned throughout the event site.

Blue Ridge Rock Festival is not responsible, or liable, for any lost or stolen items while on-site at the Festival or Festival’s Campgrounds. We will have a Lost & Found and our expansive Security Team will work to assist you in any way, should any items become misplaced. We encourage you to leave your valuable items at home or locked in your vehicles. Please contact for Lost & Found assistance.

Water refill stations will be available on the festival grounds to ensure you stay hydrated while rocking out! Empty plastic water bottles are allowed!


Register your wristband at and link your card to your wristband. Set up a private PIN for security purposes and you are all set!

When it is time to pay, tap your wristbands, choose tip amount, enter your PIN and GO!

Go to and you will then be ask for the unique code printed on the back of your wristband. You will enter the top code. This code is CASE sensitive. See below image for example of where this code is located:

You will be asked for an emergency contact, you can list yourself or someone else. This is just one additional security measure.

After entering your wristband ID number, you will create a unique 4-digit PIN to use when paying with your wristband. This is an exclusive PIN of your choice that will be needed to complete all purchases. (this is not to be confused with your debit card PIN)

Enter remaining information as prompted – your email is requested in order to send you receipts for each of your purchases.

No, this will work just like your debit or credit card.

Yes, absolutely. This is just an added convenience for those attendees who would like to participate.

Yes! It works in conjunction with your debit or credit card, so it carries all the same security features and protection. You will also set a PIN during the registration process, so no one else will be able to use your wristband without your PIN.

Don’t panic, that is why you have a PIN. Your PIN will guarantee no one else can use your account. If a wristband is lost or stolen at the event please go to the BOX OFFICE for assistance.

If you choose will-call, you are able to pick up your tickets at the gates.

All will call tickets can be picked up in-person once you arrive at the festival. Please bring a valid photo ID to confirm your identity at pickup.

Since we are sold out, upgrades are no longer available. If you are interested in purchasing different tickets, please visit Lyte, our verified resale site. The originally purchased tickets cannot be refunded.

All purchases are non-refundable and not able to be exchanged. Concert lineup and set times are subject to change.

If you purchased a ticket in 2020 and did not request a refund during the extended refund window, your tickets have been rolled over for the 2021 event. Refunds for 2020 are no longer being processed. If you purchased a 3-Day ticket for the 2020 festival, you will receive the 4th Day for free.

All events are considered RAIN or SHINE. No refunds will be given due to inclement weather.

In the unlikely event of a COVID-19 forced cancellation, all fans will have the opportunity to receive a full refund or transfer their tickets to the 2022 festival.

If the event is cancelled or postponed for any reason other than COVID-19, we will contact you to inform you of the refund or exchange procedures.

The Day Parking Lot closes 2 hours after the end of the last daily festival sanctioned event.

If you have 3 day, 4 day, and single day parking passes, please follow these directions and follow festival signage. Print out the first page and put it on your dashboard. You CANNOT leave your car overnight.

If you have Additional Camping Vehicle parking OR have 4 day parking and need to leave a car overnight because you have a camping pass, you should follow these directions. You are not allowed to sleep in your car.

Please print the first page in color and place it on your dashboard when you near the venue. 

Please follow the directions emailed to you over the last few days regarding your camping location.

Approved Items & Prohibited Items

  • Illegal drugs/drug paraphernalia — No illegal substances of any kind. Prescriptions must match the name of the prescription holder’s legal ID card.
  • Weapons— any weapons of any kind, including firearms
  • Fireworks of any kind or size
  • Glass bottles or containers of any kind
  • Unlicensed Vending– Those caught doing so will be removed from the Property with all concession/vending materials confiscated.
  • Backpacks and large bags are prohibited in the Show Field. Bag policy:
    • Empty hydration packs that are less than 5” deep are permitted. No “cargo-carrying” hydration packs.
    • Bags smaller than 8” x 11” x 5” are allowed.
    • Fanny packs are allowed but must be smaller than 8” x 11” x 5” if they are not clear.
    • Any bags larger than 8” x 11” x 5” must be clear or mesh and have no more than a single pocket.
    • All bags will be searched upon entering the venue.
    • Examples of permitted and prohibited bags can be found here
  • Coolers in the concert arena
  • Outside food or beverage in the concert arena
  • Charcoal / Wood Fires
  • Open Flames
  • Motorized vehicles (golf carts, ATVs, etc.)
  • Pets of any kind– with the exception of service animals.
  • Wagons in the concert arena
  • Hammocks in the concert arena
  • Box trucks
  • Drones of any size
  • Paper Lanterns (aka Peace Lanterns, Sky Lanterns, or other floating lanterns)
  • Professional Cameras (i.e. those with removable lenses) without appropriate credentials
  • Tents or shade structures in the concert arena— small umbrellas are allowed, but only behind or even with the Front of House/Sound/Lighting Mixing Station.
  • Inflatable furniture and furniture larger than a standard lawn chair in the concert arena. Chairs must be no greater than 12” off the ground. Blankets and low-back chairs are allowed, but only behind “no chair zone”. No chairs or place holding on the VIP or other viewing platforms.
  • Selfie sticks
  • Helium or other pressurized gas tanks– Small propane tanks allowed within campsites
  • Generators– Except in RV camping. Small generators will be allowed in the RV campground area.
  • Public nudity is prohibited in the State of Virginia.
  • Bringing or Constructing an outdoor shower or restroom that is NOT provided by Blue Ridge Rock Festival.
  • Kiddie Pools
  • Mobile Totems and Flags policy: Must not exceed a height of 7’. Must be made of PVC. This policy applies to all events grounds, including the festival area, camping, and parking.
  • Offensive Items— BLUE RIDGE ROCK FESTIVAL reserves the right to prohibit the exhibition of any item that BLUE RIDGE ROCK FESTIVAL deems offensive.

*All vehicles will be searched upon entering campgrounds. Patrons are subject to search upon entering the Show Field. BLUE RIDGE ROCK FESTIVAL is not responsible for confiscated items. Prohibited items subject to change.

**BLUE RIDGE ROCK FESTIVAL reserves the right, at all times and in the sole and absolute discretion of Event Organizers, to either to deny any person entry into or to eject any person from the Festival Grounds venue and/or the event site for violation of any Festival Event Rules, including, but not limited to, seeking to bring,  into and/or possessing or using any prohibited items while on at the Festival Venue and/or Festival Campgrounds. All such Festival Event Rules may be updated or modified at any time, without notice.

Blankets and low back chairs are permitted but behind the FOH/soundboard only.

One clear, sealed water bottle per person is allowed.

Empty plastic water bottles are also allowed and can be refilled at our free water station!

You are allowed to have your medications (we want you to stay healthy!). Over the counter medications are allowed at Blue Ridge Rock Festival in reasonable personal quantities. If you are bringing prescription medication, please make sure to bring  valid photo ID that matches the name printed on your prescription.

If you need to refrigerate any medication (including insulin), please stop by the medical tent and someone will assist you.

Getting to the Festival

At this time, we do not plan to offer hotel shuttle services. We recommend securing a parking pass or planning to use our designated rideshare and passenger pick-up/drop-off zone


Check-in is Thursday, September 9th and Check-out is Monday, September 13th. If you wish to add additional nights, you may do so directly with the hotel once you receive your hotel information.

Each hotel package group includes multiple hotels. Placement will be based on availability and room type chosen at the time of purchase. You will receive your hotel information closer to the festival.

At this time, we do not plan to offer hotel shuttle services. We recommend securing a parking pass or planning to use our designated rideshare and passenger pick-up/drop-off zone

ADA Accessibility

The Accessible Day Parking areas are close to the main entrance and are reserved for patrons with mobility disabilities. A state-issued accessible parking license plate, placard or hangtag, along with your Parking Pass, is your “ticket” into these areas.

Elevated platforms are available at both main stages for ADA attendees plus (2) companions. Your companions must have a valid festival ticket. Companion seating available on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

The festival provides a cart shuttle that will transport passengers around festival grounds, including to/from the parking lots and camping areas. ADA riders may utilize the festival shuttle at no cost.

Service animals are permitted throughout the festival. NO emotional support animals, therapy animals, or companion animals are allowed in the festival or campgrounds. Service animals must remain by the handler’s side at all times and have legally required vaccinations. Anyone bringing a service animal will be responsible for and liable for any damage or injury caused by the animal

We are closely monitoring the state of the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on the intel we have been provided by state officials, we are very optimistic that the 2021 festival will proceed as planned, at a full capacity without any restrictions. If the festival must be cancelled or postponed, ticket holders will have the option to roll over their tickets or request a full refund. The timeline for refunds will be sent via email, and posted on all official Blue Ridge Rock Festival social media pages.
